Valentine's Day Messages for Classmates and Teachers

‘I hope you have a fun and lovely day’, ‘I love having you as a classmate and friend, Have an awesome Valentine’s Day. Make it the best one you’ve ever had. With these kind of messages Pierre de Fermat scholars celebrated with joy and happiness S.t Valentine’s Day. In this occasion they created with teachers’ instructions colorful posters in which took the opportunity to express something for classmates and teachers. On the other hand, the main question to highlight here is who was St. Valentine? What is the real story behind him, and what does February 14th refer to?

Looking for information about, it could say that Valentine's Day is an old tradition thought to have originated from a Roman Festival known as Lupercalia, It was held on February 15 as a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture. During the celebrations boys would draw names of girls from a box and the pair would be partners during the festival. These matches often led to marriage.

The festival survived the initial rise of Christianity but was outlawed at the end of the 5th century when Pope Gelasius declared February 14 St Valentine's Day. The St Valentine that inspired the holiday may have been more than one man.The saint officially recognized by the Roman Catholic Church was a real person who died around AD 270.

To conclude we hope you had enjoyed this lovely day, Pierre de Fermat School has one of the most generous people we know, and we are blessed to have each one of our students in life. For your generosity, we are grateful, thank you very much indeed for your attention.
